  I've only lived in the area for about 2 months but I can tell you this. DO NOT EAT IN AT THIS DENNYS. If you are doing a pick up order they will help you quickly and provide you with good service. If you are actually there to eat they will take a long time. (You can stop here or read on if you want to hear me justify the reasoning for this.)
  
  You have to remember that 29 Palms is not a rich area and Denny's looks at the bottom dollar. They can't justify hiring another waitress or cook because they aren't generating enough revenue at that location. Why do you think other places in the area do so well? (Especially the ma and pa restaurants.) Because in this town you have to provide amazing food and service or people will go elsewhere quickly. Just drive down 62. You will see an endless wave or failed restaurants and stores. It isn't like a big city where people will just happen to come in. You're either the best or you're out.
